It’s hard to believe it’s the end of August already. It’s been a whirlwind of a summer, and unfortunately my poor website has fallen victim to my busy life.

I’ve been busy with the usual summer activities- family, friends, home improvement projects (I have a new paved patio in the backyard!) and various outdoor art and music events where I live. In spite of my neglect of my this site, though, the writing is going strong.

I have a new project that I greatly enjoyed working on which I mentioned in the previous post. In addition, I am gearing up for the release of my second novel, Sixth South, later this year. I am tentatively looking at October 16 as a launch date, but that is subject to change due to things beyond my control.

I sent the latest revision back to my editor yesterday, and she’s estimating September 13 to get it back to me, so I’m fairly confident that October date can happen. As we get closer to the release date I will be posting excerpts from the book.

I will also have more information soon on my new project as well as some upcoming features/interviews with other writers.
